The rent shall be paid to the Bank Account of Saiyoojyam Ladies Hostel on or before 5th of each month and the transaction details should be shared to the warden’s WhatsApp. The monthly rent includes the cost of food, electricity, water charges, garbage removal and cleaning of the building and premises.
If you fail to pay the rent on time your accommodation agreement with Saiyoojyam will be terminated and your entry to Saiyoojyam will be prevented.
You shall be liable to pay for any other services sourced by you from Saiyoojyam
The owner reserves the right to increase the rent or service charges at any point of time after giving 14 days’ notice.
The owner shall have the right to shift you from one room to another depending upon the availability of the room and suitability of management of the Hostel.
The Caution Deposit will not be refunded if you if you fail to notify atleast 2 weeks before the vacating date. You are also required to fill the vacating form with your bank details for CD refund.
You shall not install any electrical equipment in Saiyoojyam.
You shall not keep any goods/articles which are hazardous or not permissible by law.
The owner shall have the right to deduct from the caution deposit for any damages caused to the room, walls, floor, gadgets, fittings, fixtures and furniture in the room and for any arrears of the rent. If the deductible exceeds the amount of caution deposit paid, the owner shall have the right to recover all such amounts from you personally or from your assets.
You shall not smoke or drink alcoholic liquor or use narcotic substances in the Hostel or come to the hostel in such a state.
You should disclose to the owner at the time of joining the hostel or as and when it happens about any infirmity (mental & physical) or any other disease you are suffering from.
The owner shall not be liable for any injuries, loss, or damage to property and person of the client, caused by the client, and any accident, act, omission or conduct due to mental ill-health, disease, depression, abuse, drugs & alcoholic drinks.
You shall not have the right to substitute/ part the bed allotted to you with any other.
You shall not cause any sound pollution and shall retire to your room at 9:00pm without loitering in the hostel or building premises or in other rooms.
You shall not bring in any guests in the Saiyoojyam without obtaining prior approval.
You shall not keep any pets or cause any disturbance/nuisance to other inmates of the hostel and neighbours.
The owner or his staff or his agent accompanied by a female staff deserves the right to enter the hostel and the room at any time during the day to inspect and examine the room and the state of affairs in the hostel.
You are to enter the hostel before 10:00 pm and if your schedule of work is beyond, you shall take special permission from the owner with documentary proof from your employer regarding the working hours or shift.
In case you are absent in the night or continuously for more than a day, you shall intimate the warden and record the same in the register therefore.
In case you intend to have an extended stay in Saiyoojyam it shall be intimated to the warden at least with 14 days’ notice.
